Modulus of Rupture in controlled atmosphere

CM16 is for MOR testing of commercial refractories but with an inert (non-oxidising) atmosphere. The test pieces are 150 x 25 x 25mm - as required by International test specifications for this type of material - most materials have grain size up to 5mm. It is for testing of commercial refractories containing carbon - for use in steel making vessels.
