Ovens and furnaces normally provide many years reliable operation without any maintenance. However we recommend that equipment be inspected and calibrated:

• Insulation materials are often subject to extreme stresses as a result of high temperatures and temperature variations. This can lead to the mechanical breakdown of the materials and result in additional power losses and thermal build up within the heating elements, causing greater risks of failure and danger to operators;

• Measurement equipment can drift with time resulting in higher, or lower operating temperatures that are possibly outside of the equipments design parameters, again risking failure and danger;

• Contaminants may enter the insulation materials from spills & other operational debris, changing their insulating performance;

• Electrical circuits often suffer additional stresses due to temperatures within the operating environment, breaking down insulations and thermal protection devices.

Good maintenance and calibration can result in saving money and prevent Health & Safety issues. 

We repair, maintain and calibrate ovens furnaces & kilns, either by visiting you on site or by returning the equipment to our base in Retford, Nottinghamshire. 

We have a fully equipped workshop facility to enable us to rebuild and recondition existing ovens & furnaces.
